This gives effective energy transfer from the ball and bat speed, giving the ball a serious, thundering smack on contact. But fear not the blistering, red, raw hands that come with some one-piece rigid bats. The Slugger Select comes equipped with the VCX Vibration Control Connection System, which offers an elastometric link between the barrel and the handle. This provides independent movement and gives maximum power in the barrel while still keeping stability and low vibration in the handle. The Speed Ballistic Composite end cap, too, optimizes the balance and strength of the barrel. This will build confidence in the box, knowing free swinging will be rewarded with strong, muscular contact but not numb, stinging hands. This is further secured with the Premium LS Pro Comfort Grip. This tacky, yet appropriately squishy, grip gives your slugger a base from which to throttle the barrel through the zone.
